Features a gorgeous porcelain baby crested flycatcher perched on a branch, which looks like he is waiting for his parents to bring him some
food. This gorgeous fledging is done in colors of greens, browns, yellow, grays and white. Its underbelly is grey, white and the lower area
Boehm figurines were created by Edward Marshall Boehm. He was a ceramic artist who incorporation his passion of art with his love of nature
to produce figurines of birds, animals and flowers in background settings accurate to the tiniest detail. His first works were made in the
very early 1950's in Trenton, New Jersey under the name of Osso Ceramics. He died in 1969 and the firm has since been managed by his wife.
True Boehms are marked with various backstamps, all of which have incorporated the Boehm name since 1951.
The figurine is in wonderful condition with no chips, hairlines or repairs.
