Sevres Old Paris 19th Century Porcelain Gold Hand Painted Urns Signed Lucot

Gorgeous set of French Sevres, 19th Century old Paris, signed, hand painted urns.

They measure 14" tall, 6" wide with the ladies and the bases measure 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". These urns are hand painted and signed, Lucot.

They both feature hand painted, romantic scenes of the Romantic Era lovers in wonderful French costumes for the period. One of the urns features a couple sitting, as they gaze in each others eyes and the back of this urn features a woodland lake scene with a stone waterfall sculpture of two children tipping over a barrel, so the water falls into the lake. The other urn features another couple that is sitting down. The gentleman is playing the flute while the woman is fishing. The back of this urn features a wooden lake scene with buildings in the background.

Both urns have a gold dore bronze and brass base with porcelain painted with gold, with gold dore bronze joining the base with top, which is supporting the bulbous porcelain vases with two gold dore bronze handles on each urn. Both are signed Lucot in the designs. The interior is gold dore bronze. The lids are porcelain with gold dore bronze toppings.

These urns are in excellent and gorgeous condition for the period. Wear commensurate with age and use. There is a small minor rim, stress fracture to the gold dore bronze in one of the urns.
