Gorgeous pair of Anatole Jean Guillot (1865 - 1911) signed bronze sculptures of French soldiers from the late 19th Century.

Circa from about 1885 and they measure about 18" high x 7 3/4" wide.  The bases measure 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".

Features a pair of soldiers wearing Renaissance style attire holding what we believe to be war hammers.  They are marked Guillot on the top of the bases, as you will see in photograph #8.  The war hammers are removable, as pictured in photograph #23 and #24.  The sculptures are set on marble bases.

The sculptures are in beautiful condition for the period, with the marble bases having chipping.

A great set for any bronze sculpture collector.  They are just wonderful and amazing to see in person.  Enjoy!!!
