Beautiful and original set of the largest sleigh bells that we have ever seen.
Circa 1870 and measures 7' 6" long from the buckle to the end of the leather tongue, the brass bells are graduated from 3 1/4” to the smallest ones being an impressive 2 1/4”. The original leather strap is 2” wide, versus the normal 1 to 1 1/2”.
We have put a normal size set of sleigh bells next to it in 2 photos, so you can see how dramatically beautiful this piece is.
This piece is in amazing, beautiful condition and sounds beautiful. The buckle should be attached on the other end. It is unmarked.
This is the jewel for any sleigh bell collector and will be a keeper.
