Beautiful English, Masonic, Stainless and Silver Inkwell & Pen Holder - Circa 1922
English Masonic, stainless and silver, inkwell and pen holder.
Circa 1922 and measures 3" high x 8 1/2" long x 9 7/8" depth.
Features a stainless triangle with 2 inkwells, a pen holder, an applied open bible and 3 small diamond shaped figurals on the corners, set on a silver plaque. On the back is an engraving, Bro. Herbert Jerr, First chaplain, Jany. 1923. Part of the engraving looks to be covered or cut off. The part before Bro. and then after Jerr.
There are 4 English hallmarks as well on the back:
A.F is the makers mark, The anchor for the Birmingham anchor, the lion passant and then an X, which is the year, which the X is for 1922.
The inkwell and pen holder is in good condition, with minor wear from age and use. Please review photographs thoroughly.
