Beautiful Pickard Palm Tree Scenic High Gold Hand Painted Pitcher - Circa 1912 to 1918
Gorgeous Pickard, high gold, hard to find scenic hand painted pitcher from the early 20th Century.
Circa 1912 - 1918 and measures 7 3/4" high x 6 1/2" with the handle x 4 1/2" diameter.
There is the gold leaf mark, which is mark #7: 1912 to 1918, 13/32" dia. red(early) or black(later) decal over a gold maple leaf. Covers a blank mark(early) or beside a blank mark(later). Other dias.: 1/4", 21/64", 3/8" and 25/64". (source: Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China).
Features a wonderful and gorgeous scenic scene. Mountains are scene in the distance with what looks like either lemon or orange trees within and the other side there are 2 gorgeous palm trees. Just exquisite!
This is in beautiful and nice condition, with absolutely no chips, hairlines or cracks.
