Dresden KPM Porcelain Figural Compote with Reticulated Basket - Circa 1880

Estate Dresden KPM porcelain figural compote with a reticulated basket from the late 19th Century.

Circa 1880 and measures 17.5" tall, 9 1/2" long at the longest point and 7" depth at the widest point. It is marked on the base, please see photographs.

Features a beautiful woman and child. The compote is in 3 parts, the base is bolted to the figurine and the reticulated basket is bolted to at the top. There are beautiful flowers throughout, some in relief.

It is in beautiful condition, wear commensurate with age and use. The flowers on the reticulated basket are all there. The flower the boy is holding in his right hand does have some minor chipping. For the period, it is wonderful condition.

This piece is absolutely beautiful, stunning and a definite eye catcher.
