Beautiful Tiffany & Co. gilded bronze, clawfoot, domed top Aiguilles mantle clock.

Circa 1890 and measures 12 1/4” tall.

This is a gorgeous architectural piece with a fabulous dome top and is as clean and beautiful as they come. It keeps excellent time and has the sweetest sounding bell.

You will see in the photographs that it has an unusual lift up mechanism in the back to protect the works from dust. When you want to wind the clock, just lift up on the mechanism. The dial is the early dial with hand painted Tifany & Co. on the face. On the bronze base an don the side of the door, it is stamped, Tiffany & Co. The door is marked, Aiguilles.
