Beautiful, Estate, pair of beautiful Fukagawa Japanese highly enameled square plates from the Meiji Period (1868 - 1910).

They measure 9 5/8", square plates, having the orchid trade mark.

Fukagawa are noted for their quality porcelains, serving the Japanese Imperial House since 1910. In 1894 the Fukagawa Co. was founded by Chaji Fukagawa and started using the trademark of Mount Fiji and a stream.

These plates are in fine condition, having no crack, chips, hairlines or repairs.
