Gorgeous French Garland Millefiori Paperweight - 1860
Gorgeous French, garland millefiori paperweight.
Circa 1860 and measures 2 3/4" in diameter.
Features garland looping millefiori florets on a clear ground. There is a floret in the center done in white, blue, red and green surrounded by yellow and green florets. Florets of white and blue and rose, blue & green are done in a garland looping pattern. Has a factory polished base. It is unmarked, but maybe Clichy? Would love to hear from anyone who may know! :)
The paperweight is just absolutely beautiful to see in person. In beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines; however, there are a few scattered scratches. Stunning to see in person!
This piece would look absolutely stunning in any setting, especially with a floral arrangement. Would be great for any French, Clichy, St. Louis or paperweight collector.
