Gorgeous Sheffield, IFS, Ltd., silver-plated, shell shape, toast/muffin warmer from the late 19th Century.
Circa 1870 and measures 10 3/4" tall, 9" long and 5 3/4" wide.
Features a gorgeous shell shape toast or muffin warmer done in a classic Rococo Revival period engravings of scrolling foliage forms. This was often called a toast or muffin warmer, but its main purpose back in the day, was for cookies and crackers. Just an absolute eye catcher!
It is in beautiful condition having no repairs. There is the normal wear from use, so please review the photographs thoroughly. You will see some silver cleaner in some areas, but we have not touched this piece, we leave that up to the buyer.
This beautiful warmer would be a beautiful addition for any dining room collection and would be a wonderful addition for any Sheffield collector!
