Gorgeous, St. Louis, France, signed crystal, faceted, Queen Elizabeth II, sulphide paperweight.
Circa 1953 and measures 3 1/8" in diameter.
Features a ceramic cameo image of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by a ring of millefiori garland canes with a signature date cane, SL/1953, on a cobalt blue ground. This a 5 and 1 faceted paperweight and is inscribed on the base, Couronnement 2-6-53 Saint-Louis.
The paperweight is just absolutely beautiful and is in wonderful condition with the normal shelf wear and no chips, cracks or hairlines.
This piece would look absolutely stunning in any setting, especially with a floral arrangement. Would be great for any St. Louis or paperweight collector.
