Measures 8” tall x 5 1/2” in diameter.

This is a contemporary art glass vase in a deep amethyst iridescent color signed by noted artist, Anthony Stern. It has an unusual hand done applied Arts & Crafts silver below the blown-out neck. The top flared has a stunning stretched glass effect.

Anthony Stern was born in Cambridge, England and became interested in glass production with a collection of antique marbles, as a child.   He was involved in music and painting and had an exhibition of paintings with Syd Barrett in 1963.  His works are sought after and are with collectors all over the world.
