Circa 1979-1983 and measures 6 1/2" in diameter. Hand painted and signed by world famous Danish artist, Bjorn Wiinblad.

Rosenthal Sammel-Programm Sammel-Teller, Aladin. Rosenthal Studio-linie. Below this, translated will read: Bjorn Wiinblad is one of the most imaginative designers of our time. His stage designs and ceramics brought him International recognition. His colorful pictures and decors with their fairytale figures are unmistakable. His cheerful style has found friends all over the world. Below the paragraph reads, Motiv VIII, "Die Mutter Aladins bringt dem Sultan die Fruchte vom Zaubergarten" and translated it means: Aladin's Mother brings the Sultan Fruit from the Enchanted Garden.
This plate is new in a box that has never been opened measuring 8" x 8" x 1". The plate is untouched, so no chips, hairlines or cracks and would then come with the original paperwork that should be inside the box. Please review photographs thoroughly.
This plate is one out of the Aladin series, which produced 12 plates. This series depicted the story of Aladin from the fairytale, "The Thousand and One Nights." They were produced between 1979 to 1983 by Rosenthal and were hand painted and designed by Bjorn Wiinblad.
This would beautifully accent any room on a mantle or hutch. It is very gorgeous and very stunning. Definitely a great addition for any Rosenthal or wall plate collector.
