Beautiful Constant Van De Wyngaert signed oil painting on panel of a gent.

Measures 13 1/2" x 12 3/4" with the frame and the image measures 9" x 8".

The painting is of a gent sitting on a stool, enjoying mussels, beer and bread. A green pitcher sits beside him with a lamp hanging behind.

Signed on the lower left, C. Van de Wyngaert.

Constant Van de Wyngaert was born in Belgium in 1840 and was a 19th Century painter.

There is a plaque centered below the image on the frame reading: C. Vandewyngaert and on the back of the painting you will find a stamp at the top center reading: McCaughen & Burr, Inc., Fine Arts, 34 North Gore Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119.

The frame is handsome done in gold and the colors of the painting are absolutely stunning.

It is in great condition, but please review the photographs thoroughly, as it shows the condition as well.
