Antique Russian Icon Titled, The Mother of God of Kazan ~ Early 19th Century

Beautiful antique Russian Icon titled, The Mother of God of Kazan.

Circa 1820's and measures 10 1/4" high x 8" long x 1 1/8" depth.

It is depicting the Virgin Mary with her head slightly titled towards the infant Christ on a wooden panel.  He is facing front, has his right hand raised towards his mother in a display of a blessing and his left hand is covered.  They are crowned with gold leaf halos among a gorgeous orange to red coloring outlined in a black border.  Within the image on the upper left above Mary's halo, are the abbreviations, MP, which appears below a beautiful, curved dark line and on the right side of the infant Christ, within the halo, is the abbreviation, H.  There is as well writing on the upper left and upper right.

The icon is in good condition, wear commensurate with age and is in untouched, original condition.  It is all hand painted with beautiful colors done in gorgeous detail and gold leaf.  Please review photographs thoroughly.
