Beautiful, original Cahuilla (Mission Indians), Native American, large basket.
Circa, 2nd half of the 19th Century and measures 15.5” in diameter x 6” high.
The basket is done in the beautiful arrowhead pattern with multi colors from the Juncus grass for the main part, which is dyed from berries to make the black arrows.
It is in beautiful, tight condition, as the photos show.
A great addition for any Native American basket collector. Enjoy!!!!!
