The advertising reads as follows:
AUCTION!, Will be sold at Public Auction, at the late residence of Darius, T., Rowell, deceased, in Sharon, On Saturday, March 26, 1870, at 1 o'clock, P. M., A GOOD 5-YRS. OLD COW, ONE YEARLING HEIFER, 1 Gig Wagon, 1 Lumber Do., Sleigh, Horse Sled, Hay Rack, Buffalo Robe, Harrow, 2 Ploughs, Ox Yokes, Chains, Sap Holder, and many other useful articles. 2 TONS OF HAY, A QUANTITY OF STRAW. Carpenter Tools, Such as Augers, Chisels, Planes, &c. A quantity of Boards and Lumber. Sharon, Vt., March 19, 1870. Mrs. D. T. Rowell.
It is in wonderful condition, wear commensurate with age. It also has been laminated and labeled. There is a minor tear to the top right, color aging and some roughness to the edging. Please review photographs thoroughly.
