Sam Daniel's Co., Inc was a maker of wood and coal furnaces in Hardwick and Montpelier, Vermont from 1908 through 1969. Samuel Daniels was born in 1875 in Woodbury, Vermont and he passed in 1950. His products were very well known throughout Vermont and eventually in many other states. It stayed as a family run business through generations. The business closed in 1970 and then in 1973, it stayed true to being family run, as it was reopened by Samuel's Great-Grand Son, Elwin J "Bob" Daniels, as a wood furnace business and a new plant was built in 1980 in Montpelier, Vermont.

It is in wonderful condition for the period. The neat part, it is in working condition.

This is such a rare and beautiful piece of Vermont history that would grace any Country home well, especially a fun addition for any collector.
