Beautiful early high gold Nippon doubled handled floral vase.

Measures 5 1/4" tall and features mark #47, M in a wreath.

This mark stands for the importer, Morimura Bros., which is found in green, blue, magenta and gold coloring. This mark was used since 1911.

Features two bloomed flowers and a bud with green and blue leaves on one side with high gold beading in the center of the flowers and then a gold border throughout the floral design on the vase. The other side of the vase is a yellow bud with green leaves with high gold bordering. The rim is done in high gold with beading around.

It is in fine shape having no cracks, chips or repairs. Wear commensurate with age and use.

This exquisite piece would be an extreme eye catcher in any room and is a great addition for any porcelain or Nippon collection.
