Beautiful Hand Painted Nippon Woodland Scenic Vase

Beautiful hand painted Nippon woodland scenic vase.

Measures 9 5/8" tall and features mark #38 in blue, Imperial.Nippon.Hand Painted.

This mark stands for the Imperial Nippon found in blue & green. The date of this vase and mark are unknown per our reference books.

Features a woodland scenic scene on one side of the vase and the opposite side features a sandy road next to a road leading to the woods. There moriage type of design done in black, green and white throughout, which our outlining areas. There are red jewels done on both handles. The base is just stunning with what they call the diaper pattern done in black with red jewels, which is around the base of the vase. Diaper patterns are repetitive.

It is in fine shape having no cracks, chips or repairs.

This exquisite piece would be stunning in a Country setting. A great addition for any porcelain or Nippon collection.
