Beautiful pair of original watercolor paintings by noted artist, Walton Blodgett.
Circa 1930 and they measure 19” x 15 1/2” and having an image size of 13 1/4” x 9 3/4”.
Walton Blodgett was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1908 and passed away in Stowe, Vermont in 1963. Walton studied at the Grand Central Art School in 1927, he also studied under George Luks Art Students League in NYC. He was exhibited his works and was an active member of the American Watercolor Society and is most known as an American scene watercolor painter, illustrator and teacher.
In the late 1930's, Walton moved his family to Stowe, Vermont. He had been doing a lot of Vermont scenes, which he was selling to tourists and this wonderful artist has a huge following here in Vermont.
They are both in beautiful, bright condition.
