Jean Christophe Collin, a French General in the French Revolutionary War and the Napoleonic Wars,  was also called Verdiere.  (1754 - 1806)  He was born in Paris.  He commanded the Garrison at Paris in 1797 and was appointed General the next year.  He was part of the Grand Army of 1802 -1806 and was injured at the Battle of Jena Auerstadt.   He died after that battle.

A fantastic piece of French history, this is a period piece in fine condition for its age.   It would be a great addition to any historical archives.
