Original art pottery sculpture by noted artist Kenneth Baskin titled, “Portal.” from Lake Charles, Louisianna.

Measures 23 1/2” long x 8” wide x 6 3/4” high.

This is one of his earlier crude works.

Kenneth Baskin is from Lake Charles, Louisianna. He received his BFA from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan and earned his MFA from University of South Carolina. Presently he holds the position of Associate Professor of Art/Ceramics at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In 2007 Baskin was honored as one of the recipients of one of the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) Emerging Artist Awards.
