Gorgeous, estate, pair of Royal Worcester pair of bird figurines Parula Warbler Parula Americana Sweet Bay by Dorothy Doughty a 1957 Edition.
One measuring about 9 1/2” tall and the other about 8 1/2” tall on the wooden bases, they are in wonderful condition, amazingly, having no chips, cracks or repairs. No box.
The Magnolias are beautiful with the young spring leaves and the flowers in bloom.
The history on this edition is fun. Queen Elizabeth 11 gave this pair to President Eisenhower on her visit to the United States in 1957. He in return gave her an equestrian sculpture of Prince Philip by Edward M. Boehm.
