Beautiful, fancy, large 33.5" x 21" Sheffield silver plated handled tray by James Dixon & Sons from the 1830 to 1840s period, having fancy handles and scalloped ridged borders.
There are some minor scratches, as normal for the age, but as the photos show, they are minimal for the age. This fabulous piece weighs 14 pounds and it shined up beautifully. We did not touch the back.
