Vintage Nude Erotica, Large, Photograph, Tuscan Productions #5
Rare and original vintage nude erotica photography, of the early art deco period, this week by noted photographers, Albert Arthur Allen, Julian Mandel and Studio Manasse.
Circa, mid 1920's.
Appears to be a silver tone photograph measuring 7" x 10".
This model we consider to be one of the "flapper women", as she has the bobbed hair. This seems to be a drama photo, as it clearly looks she is pretending to capture the audience in this photo, like she just found a dainty butterfly; however, her eyes are closed so maybe she is even calling dramatically out to someone. Albert is known for these dramatic photos and is also known to capture the audience in thought. This is definitely a mesmerizing photo for sure, you wonder instantly what is she looking at within her cupped hands and what she is possibly thinking.
Signed Tuscan Productions. By Albert Arthur Allen photographer.
Albert Arthur Allen was born in 1886 and passed away in 1962. He is an American photographer and is known as one of the greatest West Coast photographers for open air nudes. A lot of his work was done during the 1920's. Without Albert's knowledge, he had set a mark in the world of nudity and politics and put them into art. He was known for photographing the "flapper women" in bobs, pearls and high heels, etc.
In good used condition with some edge roughness, but truly beautiful. This photograph is original and of the period.
